Question on Kindle Files

I have an e-book that I have published in the past in a pdf format. I've had numerous readers requesting to get this in Kindle format.

I don't own a Kindle, but was thinking if I could convert the pdf file to a Kindle file, I could just e-mail them the Kindle file.

Is that possible to do?

I don't know how you found this site but you turned me on to Kindles Free Books and Black Friday Free Books. I just downloaded a few months of reading to carry me through the Winter. Thanks a lot.
