If somehow and I know it's a big somehow, that the records finish like this for the wildcards. 2 spots

Carolina 10-6
Falcons 10-6
Detroit 10-6
Seattle 10-6
And the big one

Us 10-6

How would the tiebreaker work out. I know it's wishful thinking but I'm gonna play it out with this team until we get 7 losses. Thanks.

We are not making the playoffs this year. Be at peace with it, stop looking up the scores, don't bother doing the math, and R-E-L-A-X

Here is a link. WC team tie breakers are a little different, scroll down for those in the link.

First thing that would be determined is the tie breaker between Carolina and Atlanta.

Then the multi team tie breakers between that team and the others at 10-6. If Atlanta was ahead of Carolina, they would win head to head against the rest.

Once one spot is filled, you start the process again for the next spot.

Good reasoning. I always look at teams even at 3-7. Depending on other teams ahead of that 3-7 records of course.
I posted many times, in 1990, we were 3-7, seemed out of it. went on a 4 game win streak. Needed one win to get a WC spot, then Aikmna gets injured, knee sprain. We lose the the last 2 games. Still had a chance at 7-9 to get in, but it did not work out.
Saints beat the Rams, and they got in. What a wild ride that game was. Last second FG on a penalty got the Saints the win.

Anyway, too many teams ahead of us this time, but many play each other to give a few of those teams losses.
IF we beat the Commanders, and depending on what happens Sunday, I may go through some of those scenarios.
