Just looking for impressions on the Sooner OTs and if either might be a good fit for the Cowboy RT position long term.

Williams looks like a stud who could be a good fit as a run blocker. Not interested in Thompson all that much.

Williams big, strong, nasty and dedicated-yes to him. Thompson is big, fairly strong, lazy and soft. No thanks.

The difference to me is the feet. Thompson's slow footed, even for a RT. You could kick him inside to G but I don't think he's got the frame and base for that. In other words, he plays too high. A developmental guy only to me.

I say that and Thompson goes out and looks more fluid in the drills.

Yeah I don't think Thompson's problem is his foot spee(for RT), his footwork and technique are the problem. He can look great sometimes and horrible others. I think he checks a lot of boxes of what you look for in a RT though and would be worth a gamble in the 4th and great value in the 5th
