Would we have made the playoffs had we won out when Garrett took over?

I don't have anyones record in front of me.

NO....not even close.

The wild card teams had excellent records in the NFC this year, and we would not have challenged Philly for the division.

Our season was basically over fairly early.

We were 1-7 when he took over, two teams got left out at 10-6, do the math. The real question is if garrett was coaching this team from the start of the season, what happens to this team?

The wildcard teams are 10-6. We would have been 9-7 and rooting for the Commanders today.

If we won out, we would have beat Philly. Which would have put as both at 9-7 and tied for the division lead. What then?

Its possible we could have made it ...

New York would have still won the division at 10-6. If we had won out, and they lost today we would have won the NFC East based upon a 9-7 record and 4-2 division record.

Odds are philly would have beaten min, if it was a game they had to have for a playoff spot.

Not to mention they would have crushed us today if they'd played their starting OTs, WRs, and Vick.

Not likely. They were trying very hard in that game and were getting it handed to them.

Kind of like how they "crushed us" in the last matchup against our backup QB? Oh, no, they barely won that one? Ok.

wrong. They were playing all their starters and trying hard for a W.

They were playing for home field advantage and a first round bye. Means just as much to them as actually making the playoffs.
