Did anyone ever put down the deposit ($100, I think) for the season tickets? If so, did they ever tell you where the seats were located?

What are you talking about? Is this addressed to someone on this board?

I don't think the $100 was for a particular seat location. I think it just held your place in the queue.

Right. I just wanted to know if anyone was ever notified about where the seats might be located. I didn't want to put down several hundred dollars for lower level endzone tickets.

I don't know that wait-listers are going to be contacted about anything until all the current season ticket holders have been given a shot for their tix.

There's a couple articles in the Daily zone about the seats and stuff.

Lower level endzone...several hundred? I got a feeling the several will be there, but the hundred part wont nearly be enough.

I don't know what the pricing structure for single game tickets will be, but I have a feeling if I go to a game next year it will be my last one for a very long time.

That's why I didn't put the money down. I doubt those that just put a deposit down will get decent seats. Was just wondering if anyone had heard.

The "several hundred" was just the deposit to get your name on the waiting list. Of course they'd cost much more. I'm willing to pay a lot for tickets, but I wouldn't pay a dime for endzone tickets.

This is what I've read consistently...

Fans who aren't current season ticket holders may get on a waiting list for any remaining seats by signing up with the Cowboys and paying a $100 nonrefundable deposit for each seat. The list, which was opened in December, has grown to more than 10,000.

Holy crap!

I had end zone tickets (lower level) for the Rams game. When Romo scored on the run and he slamed the ball down at the back of the end zone I was so close I could have thrown my beer at him and hit him...I would never do that...ummm beer...but it was pretty cool. Of course, for the most part all I saw was the back of the Rams punt retuner a lot.

yeah that would have been a waste of $10 to throw that beer at Romo

Yeah, that was at TX Staidum where the end zone seats are not bad at all...actually no seat at TX Stadium is bad. But I wonder if theogt is talking about season tickets at the new stadium and if the end zone seats are different from a view point?

The view from the end zone is terrible. I'd rather have 50 yard line nosebleeds than front row end zone seats.

I agree! If you can afford it (you lucky dog) go for it!

But, I see what your point is. Why lay down 100 if you don't get to chose what seats you are able and willing to pay for...so that would be a concern.

Dear Stephen,

As a season ticket holder at Texas Stadium, you can now take advantage of a special upgrade offer. To show how much we value your support of the Cowboys, we are extending to you an exclusive opportunity to reserve seats in the new stadium's Club section ahead of the waiting list. (CLUB SEAT PRIORITY UPGRADE OPPORTUNITY - BROCHURE)

We are making this opportunity available to season ticket holders for a three week period. This means you can move your seat locations to the lower bowl, between the sidelines at the new venue. PLEASE NOTE: This is a limited-time offer from February 18 to March 7.
Why is this such a great opportunity for you? When you reserve your Club seats, you will have the best sightlines in the stadium, and you can watch the game in roomier, cushioned seats specially designed just for the new stadium. Club seat owners and suite holders will have the opportunity to secure premium parking near the stadium. In addition, you will have access to luxurious private lounges, upscale dining options, and you will have the opportunity to purchase seats to other designated events at the building. To get the full sense of how Club seats will enhance your Cowboys game experience, visit our Preview Center in Arlington. Season ticket holders like you tell us how much they learn about this great opportunity when they attend one of these meetings. There's no better way to evaluate the options available to you.
This is the first of two communications regarding your transition to the new stadium. Please accept this letter as your select invitation to upgrade to the Club section. After all of the season ticketholders have had the chance to review this option, we will open up any remaining Club seat inventory to the over 10,000 people that are on the waiting list. So, it's important that you act quickly.
For your convenience, there are two ways to book your appointment at the Preview Center.

  1. [*] Contact your personal Sales Consultant, at (817) 404-0052 or via email at .
    [*] Go to
http://stadium.dallascowboys.com/tickets and you will find our Preview Center calendar. Enter this Registration Code: xxxxxxxx. You can book your own appointment time by following the instructions. You will receive an email confirmation and a phone call from your Personal Sales Consultant.
After this process is complete, if you opt not to take advantage of the Club opportunity, you will receive a brochure and information on how to purchase your allocated seat in early March.
If you have any questions about this process please call your Personal Sales Consultant. We can't wait to see you at the Cowboys new home in Arlington!
Sincerely,
The Dallas Cowboys Football Club

Yes. All of us with season tickets not in the lower level 30 to 30 yard line or so just received the pamphlet on wednesday. We have until March 7th to go to the preview center in arlington.

Me personally, I am not even bothering to go I dont think because I am waiting for the rest of the prices to come out. I am hoping to get seats in the second level somewhere.

anyway, I believe if you put the 100 bucks down now you will be on the list that is going to be called starting the second week of march or so. And that list is for the club level seating which is basically the entire lower bowl.

Yeah, 2nd level 30 to 30 would be great. Any guesses on how much they'd cost?
