Has he finally got it or is he pulling a Anthony Spensor ( final year of contract)?

Who knows, but his history of injuries is enough to tap the brakes on a long extension or expensive contract. We are in need of pass rushers so bigly that anything is possible.

Won't know the answer to that until the end of next year. That said, I think he's finally healthy and putting it together. Personally, I think he has a good year this year (continued health permitting) and carries it forward.

I think he was having a good year prior to this but the injuries cut it short.

The problem is the injuries. Esp when you have a history of back injuries.

As someone else said...you want to see him keep going and have a great year but when it is a contract year you hate to pay a big contract to someone with a history of injuries.

I see him as the next Anthony Spencer, didn't do anything his first 3/4 years and then on his contract year became a force. Rather see him get franchised than we throwing a premium contract for 1 year of good play.

He wants to get paid. If he keeps this up expect to see him franchised for 2 years. That back is too risky long term.
