Question regarding the appeal

Let's say that after the appeal, the NFL lowers the suspension from 6 games to 4, or even 2 games. But Zeke wants to continue to fight it in the courts. He is able to get the injunction and continues to play until the court case is heard. Say week 16 and the courts rule against Zeke. Can the NFL re instate the full suspension or are they bound to the games set by the appeal, even though Zeke turned them down?
