Now that the draft is over, I'm sure we are all taking that breather for the next few days. But like all of us who love everything Cowboys, I have already started wondering about the rookie camp this comming weekend. I don't recall who can attend. All our draft picks and undrafted, but what about our "red shirt" freshmen ?
Looking forward to seeing or hearing about last years do over. Are they bigger, in shape, have healed up, have a good grasp of the playbook (Better have). Does anyone know/remember who can attend ?

I swear I read the title as ***** goes to "Rookie Camp".

Pictures would have been nice...:

I think anyone who wasn't on the active roster last year can go, but I wouldn't swear to it.

For some reason I thought that maybe 1st. year players could attend ? Hope so, would be great to hear and see that they have all benefited from the lost year. This is what I am hopeing will make this years draft complete. That and a FS....

The first year players who are allowed to participate in the rookie player include those who were hurt and/or not on the active roster for any games, IIRC.

I'm not sure how it applies to practice squad players such as Travis Bright, Jesse Holley and Manny Johnson.

Brandon Williams and Robert Brewster will be there, Stephen Hodge is eligible but not yet cleared to resume practice following microfracture surgery.

Cheers Bluefin.

Nick Eatman at dc.com says "Only rookies and selected first-year players (mainly just players who were on the Cowboys' practice squad last season) are eligible to participate in the three-day mini-camp. Therefore, Stephen McGee will not be in attendance and Nichols should be the only live arm for the Cowboys."
