Why didn't Roy even attempt to block that FG by the Luckyskins?

I was so upset...I did not notice Roy did not try......I will ck it out tonight
 
It matters what the play call was, if a fake or bad snap happens they need a contain guy. Thats actually why Colombo let Vincent get through, he thought Vincent was either playing contain or rushing at a different spot.

True, there was no time left though. We should've went all out balls to the wall.
 
For the same reason that Sean Taylor didn't try to block Vanderjagt's kick -- one guy on each side of the line has to be ready for a fake or a botched-snap pass. Watch our kick, then theirs. Sean Taylor and Lemar Marshall stayed back for the Skins, and Roy and Reeves did for us.
 
You can see the other back man opposite Roy just back off the line........probably what he was supposed to do I would assume.
