Question, will our Safety coverages change from past schemes?

If you all have noticed, basically our free safety was the last guy, and generally stayed back in coverage, and hardly ever came up and forced a stop against a run.

Will that change now with Rob Ryan in charge and way he plays defense,

or will Jason Garrett still want the free safety back in coverage and hardly in run support like in past.

And will if Sensabaugh stay this year, will he say again, I am not going to get fined. So, I am basically not going to come up and level a player or lower the boom on a QB or RB?

If you all remember how Sensabaugh remarked, im not going to get fined for hitting and tackling.

Uh, yes. Ryan, like LeBeau & Capers (and his brother Rex), emphasizes the secondary just as much as the front 7. He will be incorporating the secondary into his blitzes, not used just primarily for coverage like Wade. Jerry said it best, Wade focused on the front 7, Rob will focus on the back end as well as the front end.

Rob Ryan is a former DB coach. And LB coach.
