I didn't see the game, I'm in the middle of a hurricane.

1.Tyron Smith, how did he do? Was he as dominate as he was in the first two pre-season games.

2. How was Garrett's play calling? I seen on the first pass, on yahoo's drive summary, Dez had a catch for 1 yard, let me guess wr screen?

3. When did Demarco Murray enter the game?

4. Did Mike Jenkins play and if he did how did he look.

Thanks

Smith had some problems with spin moves. Caused Romo to be sacked or nearly so at least twice. Had some good moments, too. Thinking he might need some help early on this yr, depending on his opponent.

Play calling in a PS game isn't relevant.

Murray made it in late second half, I think . Looked good to me. By that time OL was a little ragged.

Jenkins out

Was that Smith put flat on his back by someone on one of the very first plays, if not the first play. I thought he struggled. I know the starters won't play Thursday but I wouldn't mind him playing a few series.

I agree with this. Don't expect Smith to be dominant this year, that's a little unfair. Hopefully he is serviceable this year and dominant down the road.

I like the playcalling in terms of the players seem to be able to execute for the most part.

tyron smith looks good. once he gets his hands on the defender they aren't getting past him. looks like he's already equivalent to free...question is when do they switch positions?

You're out of your mind if you think Smith is equivalent to Free after last night. Smith got beat twice for sacks/knockdowns last night.

watch free again. i know he went against allen but he got pushed into the QB everytime. free isn't the answer at LT. if you think smith #9 overall won't move to LT youre out of your mind

Watch Free all of last year and get back to me.

He is clearly a very good LT. You can take any player and find plays where they lost battles. No one wins all of them, especially against one of the best DEs in the game

hes an above average left tackle, if he was VERY GOOD like you say why didn't he make the pro-bowl last year? NFC isn't known for their amazing LT like the AFC, joe thomas, jake long, debrickishaw ferguson...no free got beaten out by jordan gross, tyson clabo, donald penn. he's not very good but good enough. do u really think we would draft someone that's gonna play RT at #9 overall?? tyron smith will be a LT and a pro-bowler in a year or two

Sorry, but using pro-bowls appearances as your argument is pretty weak, especially for o-line. Do you think it would be plausable that Free didn't make to pro-bowl because he was starting at LT for the first time and wasn't a high draft pick? I'm not saying he should have or should not have made the pro-bowl, just that those that deserve to go often don't.

BTW, Free is a very good LT.

This was far and away Smith's worst game. He had quite a few mishaps.

It actually isn't. =) Either way it's basically a slang word.

I have not seen the replay, but early reports say Smith was good in this game despite getting beat on that spin move.

On Felix's 3rd and 1 big run, Tyron is on the left side of the field, destroying some poor Viking. Felix made the blitzing linebacker miss by using his great feet, and Smith secured the lane on the right side.

I can't wait to see Smith run on that play.

Your reckoning is seriously flawed.

77 played hot and cold on Saturday. Some things he does well, some things he doesn't yet. Even on the things he does well right now, he's not in the same league as Free.
