How do you feel about the rule that rewards a point to the team that loses in OT or SO?
On one hand I find it to be silly and hokie.....but on the other hand, I find it innovative and pretty cool.
Would you be opposed to the NHL adopting the NBA format, where a the 3 division winners are guaranteed a top 4 seed, but if a 2nd place team has a better record, it can be either the 2nd or 3rd seed come playoff time?
If the NHL currently had this rule, the Pens would be a 2 instead of a 4 seed. Also, the current 4 seed in the West would actually be a 2 seed.
