Not a want to happen, but I think what will happen mock. I usually do these three or four times, I always do them with all picks because you do not draft in a vacuum.

If the vikings take Shaq Thompson do you reckon any commentator ANYWHERE has the audicity to suggest that they are taking him as an insurance policy against Adrian Peterson and may move him to RB?

Probably. But I think Thompson is a great fit for what Zimmer does and paves the way for Greenway out of town next year.

Not a fair response to a mock that is reasonably well thought out (eve if it was "quick and dirty"). Still pretty funny, however.

No offense, I figured that would be the response. Even I do not like it all that much but that was how it broke. The hardest part was after pick fifteen all the way into the fifties, any of those players could have gone in that range. There is no real cut off point for the talent like there usually is.

I love it provided the 2 guys checkout medically, if Ajayi can play 4 years then he will be a steal at 60.

I love Shaq Thompson. I wouldn't necessarily be the one to gamble on him, but he will be very fun to watch if he works out. I'm worried about him being a little too much like Ernie Sims though. Tons of athletic ability and all, but just not there instinctually.

No offense intended; I think it was well-conceived. My disapproval is it might actually play out this way in the 2nd round. Not what I want.

I don't think the Cowboys would let Gregory skip by them if hes still available.
I do like the RB pick Ajayi in the 2nd Round.

I thought about that, but there is only so much PR bad press one team can take.

Looks really good. Eric Rowe is the only one I would change significantly.

I guess Collins gets the big bump for being the most developed.
9 New York Giants Collins, La'el* OT LSU
18 Kansas City Chiefs Humphries, D.J.* OT Florida
19 Cleveland Browns Flowers, Ereck OT Miami (FLA)

Interesting with Peters over Waynes and Jones over Johnson. I would move Rowe up.

20 Philadelphia Eagles Jones, Byron CB Connecticut
22 Pittsburgh Steelers Johnson, Kevin CB Wake Forest
53Cincinnati BengalsRowe, EricCBUtah
57 Carolina Panthers Darby, Ronald* CB Florida State
58 Baltimore Ravens Rollins, Quinten CB Miami (OH)

Interesting decision for the Cowboys with Gregory on the board. OO is the safer pick with no size or character issues.
24 Arizona Cardinals Ray, Shane* DE Missouri
27 Dallas Cowboys Owamagbe, Odighizuwa DE UCLA
31New Orleans SaintsGregory, Randy*DENebraska

Agree. The analysts are overrating him as a mid 1st, IMO.

Did you move Kendricks down because of the knee?

I guess you really like Conley.

Yes. somebody will suggest it. I doubt if teams would do it, but if you wanted to avoid carrying 3 RBs on the 46 man game day roster, he does have legit ability to take some snaps at RB in an emergency situation.

The reason somebody will suggest it is because the talking heads like to show that they know some details about a player. They can burn some time rambling out him playing RB.

I do like the RB pick Ajayi in the 2nd Round.

If he was a perfect fit would agree; however, at 230 pounds he has both scheme fit and character going against him. That really increases the risk probability.

At that stage, about it was either Sammie Coates or him and their interest was the tie breaker.

I'm not impressed with Coates. He fights the ball and seemed like a knucklehead from what I saw Senior Bowl week.

Again, the list looks really good.
