Been a rough 3 weeks for Chelsea fans. The Lukaku situation has been heart-breaking now twice. Such a talented player but just has never been happy here for any length of time.
Chillwell loss was huge as they just lack another solid 2-way option there. He was so in form.
All that said a top 4 EPL finish, UCL round of 16, and still alive in the Carabou Cup is a pretty good version of awful.
.
They did a good job of competing that final quarter. Arizona still doesn't scare me. I'd never block Chandler Jones with Dalton Schultz again but basic scheme adjustments and I like Dallas by 14 in a rematch.
Can't see Rams losing at home with a division title on the line but it is possible.
Never bought that from MM and the team played with zero sense of urgency until down late.I think the team was treating it as a big game as well; MM saying the team was going to treat this like a playoff game.
Tall order to make a deep playoff run. We are going to have to get lucky or have something really click like it did for the Giants the year their defense carried them on their improbably Super Bowl run.
Cool story but I predicted this in advance on this board.
I was only shocked Arizona played it as aggressively as they did.
Feel free to cry though. That always helps.
rofl handed us our butts... it was a 3-point loss where they missed a fumble call that at the very least sends it to OT.[
Only on a Cowboys board do people think they can have no fear of a team that just handed us our butts. The Dalton Schultz observation is a good one, however.
Not sure you understand the difference between a prediction and an excuse.Congrats on the prediction. They don't stop being excuses just because you make them in advance.
That is a great note and SF did flog them in the Bay but I'll still lean to the team with a 3-game lead and home field.SF hasn’t lost to the Rams since 2018

If you can read at all you noticed the warning this wasn't going to be the thread for cry-babies.

Rams played poorly this week and likely come out ready to go. That Rams defense should be able to shut SF down.
Unfortunately, it buys us only 1 playoff win if I am right. And I am rightI really really hope you are 100% correct.
you mean to tell me Dak was not the only reason we lost?Watched it again, no expert but…
a handful of killer penalties stalled drives in 1h. 3rd and 12 offsides on defense (Gregory) when tgeyvgot a stop led to 3 extra points for Cards (they failed on 2 pt play)
Hooker deflects ball on 4th down cards td in 2Q. A touch unlucky.
3Q was god awful football, especially on offense.
I still thinks it’s going to be a tough haul to get out of 1st round, but I’m slightly more encouraged after rewatch.
offense still too many empty possessions, I worry about the secondary when there is not any semblance of pressure. You could say that about any secondary, but Diggs, Brown, J Lew weren’t good yesterday. Joseph came in and gave 15 yards of cushion.
AgreedHow was playing a winning team that could be a playoff foe in Week 17 of the season while you, yourself, are fighting for the #1 seed (or #2 seed) not a big game?
It's comical the lengths some will go to in order to excuse a loss.
Dude, you came on my thread which warned in the very first line this wasn't going to be the thread for crying and instead of heeding that proclamation proceed to post over and over in my thread.Dude, you come in here offering a pathetic list of excuses for why Dallas lost an important game. The one thing you're not in a position to do is pretend to be more grown up or manly than those who accept the loss for what it was: a thorough disappointment.
'Hey guys, be tough like me and act like a child who can't accept reality.'
Dude, you came on my thread which warned in the very first line this wasn't going to be the thread for crying and instead of heeding that proclamation proceed to post over and over in my thread.
So let me be clear it was only disappointing if you have a really low football IQ.
Dallas had very little play for. They certainly had little desire to present Arizona with a playoff game plan.
Some things are just what they are and people with brains can see that.
Other people are irrational and cry every time they don't get the result they want.
It is clear which you are.
Buck up sparky, the most likely result of the final two games was we would play Arizona in Dallas.
That was computers doing the math BEFORE the game.
Still the most likely result and now the Cards have shown us their game plan while we largely trotted out generic formations.

If folks football IQ is so poor they could not tell how the teams played the game I can't help more than I have tried to already in this thread.
Arizona played this like an important game but Dallas did not.
