Big win for this team tonight, but they still have a lot of work to do. They still aren't a very smart team and the defense still needs a lot of help.
It'll be good to see the offensive line get some more strength next year. Not sure what the issue is with Tyron Smith though. Starting to get weary of paying these guys big money and watching them decline immediately.
Liked the dedication to the run, it wasn't always there, but when we needed it to be, we got some good gains.
Escobar still looks like he doesn't know what he is doing. Come on man! Another good game by Beasley though, not to mention Jason Witten and James Hanna
Terrence Williams is not a #2 wide receiver. This guy is Houdini, but not in a good Tony Romo way. I saw Dez try to encourage him at the end of the game, but the reality is that this guy is at best at #3 who is just not a consistent catcher, and the benefit of having him run routes doesn't seem to be there right now. He isn't getting open. We need to bring in someone next year who has speed and can push Williams. This offense needs a lot more speed. That's why I liked that we tried to get Dunbar more involved. That should pay dividends if we can get that going.
The defensive line actually played a pretty solid game (still need to upgrade the line next year), but Carr is absolute garbage as he has been all year long. I'm at the point where I don't even know if I want him to take a paycut. Just make him a June 1st cut and be done with it. Bring in a veteran corner like Tillman and draft a corner high.
Linebackers should be a lot better with Lee and Durant back, but DE, CB, and WR are our top needs right now.
