Going back to the trade back mocks and have the Cowboys trading back a few times landing in the mid to late 20's picking up a 2nd and a 4th while losing a 6th.

1.)Peter Konz C 6-5 314
2.)Vinny Curry OLB 6-3 266
2.)Jared Crick DE 6-4 290
3.)Ladarius Green TE 6-6 238
4.)Brandon Brooks OG 6-5 346
4.)Derek Wolfe DE 6-5 298
4.)Janzen Jackson FS 5-11 190
5.)Asa Jackson CB 5-10 191
7.)Nicklas Jean-Baptiste NT 6-2 335

Please leave feedback and tear it apart

No chance Brooks is there in four but I like it.

IDK this year is a pretty good in terms of OG so I could see him going there, but as always some team could reach for him........I like the chances.

If we get something like this draft with 2 OLine and 3 DLine I would be crazy happy lol

Didn't Jackson get kicked out of Tenn.? If so, I don't think Garrett would take a chance on.

I would use the 3rd on a CB and replace Jackson with the TE out of NC State.

I'm ok with the trades. I suggest that you show the pick number, especially in the 1st round. (i.e Peter Konz 1 (#29), Vinny Curry 2 (#45), etc..).

Also, it would be good to see the trades (i.e. #14 for #29 and #61, etc..).

1.)Peter Konz C 6-5 314
Ok, in the late twenties. I prefer Philip Blake in the 3rd/4th, but that's a minority opinion.
2.)Vinny Curry OLB 6-3 266
I can live with this pick, but I prefer Irvin and McClellin.
2.)Jared Crick DE 6-4 290
I don't think they will take 2 DEs. I'm in the minority, but I like Wolfe as much or more than Crick.
3.)Ladarius Green TE 6-6 238
Reasonable pick here.
4.)Brandon Brooks OG 6-5 346
Highly unlikely that he is available here.
4.)Derek Wolfe DE 6-5 298
Love this pick.
4.)Janzen Jackson FS 5-11 190
Reasonable pick here.
5.)Asa Jackson CB 5-10 191
Good pick.
7.)Nicklas Jean-Baptiste NT 6-2 335
Three DL. Who gets cut?

Thanks for the feedback man I love reading this stuff.

If we did draft 3 Dline.....then I guessing Coleman and possibly Hatcher, Spears, or Brent get cut

I'm predicting Lissemore as a starter.

I expect Brent to get back to his 2010 form. I think he is player that probably needs a structured off-season and his play suffered from the lockout.

I think the team actually loses a little salary cap space if Spears is cut this year.

I definitely don't see Coleman on the team in 2012.

Don't overlook Clifton Geathers, his measureables are better than Brockers across the board.

Geathers has freakishly long arms. Wonder if the guy can actually play.

I dont think the boys resigned Clifton yet.......He's got the talent so this year he should start to show it.

I like Geathers but Idk if the boy will bring him back.
I like Lissemore he should see significant increase in plays if not starting depending what they do in the draft.
Brent did look good his first few years.......last year he was injured but casper before and after he got hurt. I hope he can turn it on next year.

IIRC somebody I think broadus said Rat was moving to DE if thats true it fills one spot and Coleman may be gone but leaves us with no NT if Brent is not ready.

I would love nothing else then to finally fix the Oline and Dline but dont care as long as we get better.......right now I have no clue what the D is going to look like day 1 but im ready lol. If the Oline FA signings workout then draft some oline the Cowboys will tear teams apart.

We are improving and I for like the direction Garrett is taking the Boys(so far) and I'm just excited to see what else he has up his sleeves.

I really think we are drafting a WR (maybe as high as the 3rd rd) as our depth is really bad.

Just gut?

Who are you thinking about......R.Broyles in the 4th-6th range or someone else?

JJ mentioned at the owners' meeting he thought Lissemore and Geathers were going to step up this year. I think Geathers is in the Cowboys' plans this coming season.

By the way, the only DL he did not mention by name was Coleman.
