Quick Passes in order?

It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys implement more quick pass plays to help mitigate the deficiencies at LT.
Many of our routes call for 8-10+ yard routes but we may need to utilize more quick slants, bubble screens, etc.

Effective running game solves everything.

We have always had mixed results against the Eagles running the ball in the past, so I am really curious to see us try to run the ball against them without Elliott and without Smith at LT. If they stone us, we might get run off the field.......... lots of three and outs and then giving the ball to Wentz and that offense without Lee on defense.

Eeek.

I told somebody the other day that having an effective running game will help prevent the DE's from being able to teeing off on the QB.
We saw a glimpse of running the ball well in the 3rd quarter with Morris but that got squashed when they went to an empty set and Green got beat again and that resulted in the failed FG attempt.

I wonder if we will see a crap ton of 2-3 TE sets Sunday night.

They've been in order, but I'm not counting on it happening.

Yes...quick passes will be necessary but, as with anything in the game plan, it can't be all that all the time. The Eagles have a very quick and disciplined defense...and they tackle well. They are rarely out of position.

The Cowboys are still going to have to mix in some longer developing plays and take their shots downfield. The Eagles secondary has played decent considering it was their weakest defensive unit entering the year and then losing Darby week 1. Darby is probably going to play his first game since that injury Sunday night. He's our best CB, but he may have some rust and not quite be back in football shape.

What you are advocating requires a competent coaching staff. We don't have one. They will continue to trot out the same exact offense as if everyone is healthy. They are a joke.

If we know it, think the Eagles would possibly plan for it? Stop run, stop quick passes, kill Dak....smh

Does Dak have a quick release. I don't recall this offense ever doing quick passes, even with Romo.
Everything seems to need be developed and takes a little time.

The only quick passes is that little sideline screen type thing. The one they used to often and GB jumped it last year and intercepted in the playoff game. That changed the game IMO, as we were making that comeback.

Dak’s release isn’t as quick as Romo’s. But it is quick enough to execute 3 step drop plays if the coaches would call them.

They can possibly go no huddle.
