Quick Question...about Texas Stadium

What will the stadium be used for now? How long? Will it be demolished?

demolished for a commercial development that no one will actually go to because the location-surrounded by freeways on each side-make it a terrible site for anything but a stadium.

I was there on Thanksgiving and I was talking to an employee of the stadium and he said that they were going to imploud the stadium and leave the roof. He said that they are going to build a mall under the old roof. I don't know who true this is, but that was what the stadium employee said.

Cool idea...I'm not sure exactly how they'd go about doing that, but a cool idea nonetheless.

That site is a great site for development. Not sure why you would think otherwise. They could add some new entrance/exit ramps to the area. Otherwise, I could see a bunch of things to spice up the area.

I've read that they're thinking mixed-use development.
