Trivia time:

Anyone know who Matt Brian is and where he was before he went to TB? Note that his 62 yarder is good for 2nd all time.

Matt Bryant was one of our project kickers of old. Today's game winner is the first time I haven't hated his freaking guts.

Bryant was that wonderful kicker that Zuriel Smith let kick the ball out of bounds to get an illegal procedure so the Boys could make a killer comeback on Monday Night Football against the Giants.

Also, from my alma mater, Baylor U

After Cundiff got hurt, we brought in Bryant for a look, and ended up going with Jose Cortez.

Now imagine Jose Cortez kicking a 62-yard FG. In practice even.

He would have been our kicker if not for a late TC injury. Parcells compared him to Matt Bahr. That's pretty high praise for Parcells.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Parcells favor keeping Bryant over Cundiff but Bryant hurt his leg near the end of training camp two years ago? By the time he healed, Tampa Bay had signed him I thought and never let him go.

You're right, they never did. I was thinking of Todd France, the guy they did let go.

Still, that kick came out of nowhere. Bryant, like Cortez, had one career 50+ yarder going into today.

Wasn't Bryant the guy who kicked the ball out of bounds in 2003 and allowed Dallas good field position at the end of the game that we evnetually won in OT? :D
