Does anyone know how many hold overs there are from the Parcell's days.
Whether you like him or not (I do) that GUY built this team that Jerry's boys tried to destroy.

Obviously Ireland and Bill are gone, but how many are left?

The only ones I know of are Tom Ciskowski and Henry Sroka, both of whom were there before Parcells. There may be others.

All of those guys, including Ireland were brought in before Parcells got there. Parcells stole Ireland and the pro personnel guy. The rest are probably still there.

To my knowledge Parcells did not bring in any of our scouts. Some followed Ireland from Kansas City. Most have been here for quite a while.

Just an interesting tidbit .... three scouts -- Ciskowski, Sroka and the now-retired Jim Hess -- were all coaches at New Mexico State at one time.

Tom Ciskowski - Director of College and Pro Scouting -Hired in 1992 was tony wise's assitant once upon a time

Chris Hall - College Scouting Coordinator- hired 1990

Drew Fabianich - National Scout - hired in 2003

Walter Juliff - National Scout - hired 1992

Bill Dekraker - Midwest Area Scout - hired in 2008

Sam Garza - Southwest Area Scout - hired in 2005

Mitch LaPoint - Southeast Area Scout - hired in 2005

Henry Sroka - West Area Scout - hired in 1999

John Wojciechowski - Northeast Area Scout - hired in 2003

Judd Garrett - Assistant Director of Pro Scouting -hired in 2008

Will McClay - Pro Scout - hired in 2002

Keith O'Quinn - Pro Scout - hired in 2006

Jim Dodson - Pro Scouting Assistant
Rich Behm - Scouting Assistant

Not sure when jim dodson and rich behm were hired, I believe they both have been here a few years however.

The only person parcells brought here and took with him was Brian Gaine. Jeff Ireland was already here when parcells showed up.

edit. I forgot to add Todd Williams who is Stephen Jones assitant, he joined the organization in 1995.

I did not know he brought Gaine. The guys who came in 2003 followed Ireland here right?

Behm started out with Dallas in 2002.

Great guy, you may remember some stories about him from the bubble collapse. He was paralyzed from the waist down.

Not to sound shallow but Behm was someone I met along my journey and I miss the insight I would receive from him. He is still employed by the Cowboys but as you can imagine he has a long road to recovery ahead of him and is not very active with the team.

yea Brian Gaine was with the jets for 6 years. They hired him as an assitant in 99. He was actually on the jets practice squad in 96 and on the giants practice squade in 97. he was a tight end. One of parcells closest friends in all of pro football is NY Giants Tight end coach Mike Pope!

Drew Fabianich came here in 03, but he was a high school defensive coordinator the two years previous to that at wt white high school in Dallas. he was on the same staff from 93-96 as the defensive coordinator at the university of tennessee martin with former DL coach Kacy rodgers.

John Wojciechowski was hired in 03, but he spent the previous 5 years with jax and from 96-98 he was the steelers player personnel assistant. He worked with will McClay in jax in 01, McClay was the assitant director of pro scouting in jax in 01.

Ireland was with the chiefs as an area scout from 97-2000. He was hired here in 01. He was a place kicker at baylor and the special teams assitant coach at the university of north texas in 92-93.

Mitch lapoint and mike murphy who is no longer here and I am not sure where he is were with ireland in KC. lapoint was in kc from 98-04 and murphy was there from 96-99.

EDIT: just to update, I thought murphy left last year if I remember correctly to go to Miami and checking their front office Mike murphy is on there staff as a college scout.

Its my understanding he is working his exact same job and doing his exact duties in the scouting department currently.

I never heard if he resumed full duties. That's not to say he is not involved just not as involved a scouting assistant would be this time of year.

Jerry has done everything he can possibly do to allow Behm to stay as active as he wants and can right now.

Now, it's been about 6 months since I last talked to him. Something could of changed so I could be way off on this one.

isn't Clint Dolezel a scout?

I am not sure, I do not have a 2009 media guide because the stupid stadium never sold them for the first time ever.....

His bio says he is, I just cant confirm it within the organization.

He is the head coach of the san angelo stampede currently. I never realized he is Dan Campbell's cousin!

After the AFL folded, Dolezel went on to become the Offensive coordinator for the Florida Firecats’ of the AF2. He helped to lead the Firecats’ to a 7 and 9 record and missed out on the playoffs due to a technical error by the league. He is currently a scout for the Dallas Cowboys.

Dolezel is happily married to his wife Chris and has two children, his son Trevor, age 10, and his daughter Molly, age 13. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family. He is also an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.

Yeah, I actually saw him in Wal-Mart the other day, ha. I'm currently going to Angelo State, haven't had a chance chance to catch a Stampede game yet. And I remembered he was a scout when he was doing radio shows with Mickey, but I wasn't sure if he still was.

Well, they certainly didn't learn how to spot good players THERE, NMSU has never had any... :D
