Quick thoughts before rewatch

Pretty sure going for it was always the best strategy. It's just that historically, coaches were uber-conservative. The fact that you can't gain much field position with a punt from that position (the 41, not the 45) really makes a difference.
Well thats what I meant, not necessarily the best strategy, but the one of choice once upon a time.

When teams played real defense, getting backed up inside your own 10 was a problem. Now, you'll be back out to the 40 before long anyway most likely with a gassed defense.

Go for it. Call a good play and execute.

Diggs seems to suffer in off coverage. He is sued to bullying guys off the line when he is off seems to "guess" a little more and ends up out of position.

If anyone still cares lol after the rewatch....

-They did appear to be confused at the end of the last series, but I liked them trying to run as much as they did. LA made very nice one on one tackles more than once. Z bailed out everyone. All is fine.

-LA hurt themselves more than I realized with penalties. We've lost our share of those, so...

-ABrown was never beaten badly that I saw. Considering, he deserves props.

-Biadasz: did I see a thread where people were questioning him? Against Vea maybe, but I watched him almost exclusively and he had a GREAT game. If he doesn't have a very high PFF grade this week I'm officially never paying attention to them again.

-Lamb is so good its stupid. Haven't heard the name Chiasson around the league much lately.

-In fairness to Fassel, I dont think the roughing the P thing was an all out block call. Wilson and Kamara simply beat their men and came close to a block. Not sure if that may be a plan by the kicking team to try and get a call.

Yes, they missed Gallup. Gallup has a little different game and can get downfield. Wilson seems to be really good in RAC. The thing about Gallup is he seems to pick it up when Amari is getting a lot of attention.

If Fassel has free reign then whoever gave it to him needs to be slapped in the head with a shovel. It seems to me like Fassel calls plays to get himself some attention. Special teams is a handicap for Dallas right now. Fassel needs to clean it all up and stop hurting the team.

I like Parsons at DE, he seemed like a natural coming off the edge.
I think , Parson will be best used as occasional DE for the pass rush , that way he will last, he wont be able to play full time DE going against 300-320 lb tackles,or he needs to bulk up but that will rob him off his speed.

If I recall correctly, the humidity in TB was really high and it is an open air, real grass, stadium. So that probably had a lot to do with that 60 yard kick in TB being short, and is ammo for why kicking that ball was a terrible call.

I don't think the humidity in LA was high, and I'm not sure if that stadium is fully indoors or not, it sure seems to have a lot of protection from the elements and is not natural grass.

So I think this week was MUCH better than last week when it comes to kicking conditions.
The 60 yard kick wasn't short. It was wide.

The 60-yard attempt was with 20 seconds left in the half, and it wasn't close to making. The 56-yard attempt was to win the game with 4 seconds left.

If they tried a 59-yarder in the middle of the 2nd quarter yesterday, on 4th-and-5, I think my head would have exploded.
The 60 yarder was close. It was a little wide.

Kudos to “the animal” Steele…didn’t think he had it in him. He played a great game

NFL is played like a video game.

This ain’t Madden no longer applies.

The Kids who grew up playing Madden knew long ago to not receive the ball first because scoring before half and getting it back after halftime was game breaking.

Going for it more.

Mobile QBs who can throw.

These spread concepts.

All these things have been done by 14 year old kids for over a decade and now the NFL runs their team that way. It’s hilarious.

I honestly believe a lot of these QBs got good at reading coverages because they probably played so much Madden growing up.
Like I said before you edited. I have two Super Bowl rings madden

Going for it on fourth down and 30 yards , On your own 20 yard line. And the reason why. Because people can’t play defense. People by championships. You can buy a better team. We’re average people just trade for players. It’s not what to do
