Oh you don't say. The kid was smoked and now we are going to be looking for someone to compete for his time? Maybe you should try to put your best guys in the game......before the game is played.

This team is the gift that keeps giving.

Lewis went down for the year.
Brown went down for the year.

You think there's some spigot for DBs that teams can just turn on? Bartender, I'll take a double.

Sorta like watching the old Star Trek series and seeing the guys in the red top uniform beam down to the planet with Captain Kirk. You knew they was dead on arrival.. Hand Joseph one of those red uni tops.....

Their best option who they used a second round pick on has been terrible, which has resulted in a competition during the final three games of the season. They’ve lost two corners to injuries which means their options are limited.
They signed 3 veterans. They can put Bland out wide and move a veteran inside. They can put a veteran out wide. They can put Wright out there. They have several different options and can experiment before the playoffs.

I get the impression Joseph is not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree because he has the physical tools to play. He may be one of those young talents that does not study hard or prepare well.
Yeah, after completely biting on the slow down, he almost caught back up to the receiver before he caught the TD.

Who else do we even have? Why are we always so terrible at CB and especially CB depth? I literally can't remember the last time we had a great secondary. We gotta get some dofferent scouts or something.

They basically signed some bodies to try out. If these players were any good they wouldn’t be available. You don’t see good corners available, especially this time of year. They lost two of their best corners to injuries and a relatively high second round pick from just last year can’t play the position. That’s left the Cowboys in a real bind. They’re down to picking their poison with crumbs they brought in off the street to go along with Wright and Joseph. Whoever they put out there’s going to have a big target on their back. The loss of Hankins is causing us to get gashed up the middle. We can’t stop perimeter runs and we’re getting toasted in the secondary. Our defense went from a borderline elite unit earlier in the season to trash.

Jerry has the final say on all draft picks so yes. He has literally said this.
The final say, yes, but is he supposed to veto what his scouts and coaches recommend? C'mon, then you'd have a legitimate gripe against him. As it stands, the blame should be laid at the feet of whoever convinced him to take KJ.
