To my way of thinking the Jets Giants Browns Raiders and Titans all need QB’s Ewers reminds me of a Herbert Charger hangs in the pocket and completes tight throws .

As an added bonus can use his legs to get that 3rd and short 1st down when the pocket breaks . He’s gone round one and it will be fun to see him go up against the Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl .

Look, I’m burnt orange through and through, but Quinn isn’t a day one pick. In fact, he might want to consider returning his senior season for another program at the reported $6m payday.

We shall see . I’m looking at the teams I mentioned that need a QB and Ewers is an Instant upgrade . Now you have to either have some OL talent or commit to building a line for Ewers . Torched the Sun Devils for 300 plus made the right reads . Tight coverage on the money . The SEC is college football .

My money is on Ewers hitting the transfer portal and spending another year in college before going into the draft. Honestly if he does go to the NFL he is a guy the Cowboys would be smart to keep an eye on in round 2 if he drops. He has some serious flaws, but the tools seems to all be there to succeed at the next level. Not to knock the Texas coaching staff, but the OC is a lifelong OL guy, and Sarkisian comes with mixed results. There could be some improvement just from a more QB friendly coaching staff. Ewers might not be THE guy but would be the type of gamble the Cowboys should look at taking to get a developmental guy in the locker room over the next couple of years.

If he stayed in College why the portal ? Manning ? And Dallas somehow some way has to challenge constant three and outs and INT’s sailing into safeties arms by Dak . The man has no accountability. Get him a roster challenge and a coach willing to implement change

Yeah I would assume that Texas would choose Manning over Ewers for next year if they had to. Ewers probably doesn’t have too much of an issue finding a solid payday from the portal either.

Really McCarthy might not be a bad guy for Ewers. If there is one thing the guy has shown it’s that he does know how to work with QBs.

Ewers is a choker. Always committing the dumbest mistakes and turnovers at the worst time, especially against the toughest opponent in the most important games. Add in his sidearm throwing motion? Ugh, HARD PASS on this guy.
this makes about as much sense as claiming Dak is a great QB
bottom line was that in OT Ewers threw TD passes that won the game.

I wouldnt draft Ewers AT ALL,he has fatal errors in his game like the propensity to take his eyes his receivers and fold like a cheap suit against the blitz.

I would draft Jaylen Milroe over Ewers and I'm a Texas homer.
At least with Milroe you have a running threat. Ewers has the mobility of a granite statue.

Texas alum as well. I would stay away from Ewers, he will end up being a backup at best.

We will see . For a guy driving Texas to the semifinals against a team ranked right with them throwing for over 300 and TD first pass in 2nd OT he shows something on tape. Manning won’t sit another year it’s either portal or pros .

When Texas fans are passing on Texas player, that is a massive red flag
