Who to say he'll sit for three years.......Dak's contract is tradable before the 2027 new league yearI want to smash my computer screen just listening to that video. Heaven help me if it actually happens on draft day.
Spending a 2nd rounder on a QB who's going to sit for 3 years would be a pretty questionable use of a top 50 pick. I like taking dart throws at quarterbacks, but that's an expensive dart to be throwing. And the guy you'd spend it on is Quinn Ewers? Dude folds under pressure like a sumo wrestler jumping onto a lawn chair.
Green Bay did it several times worked out for them. Of course you come back would be they were in better shapeI want to smash my computer screen just listening to that video. Heaven help me if it actually happens on draft day.

Watching Ewers is so frustratingEwers is not a 2nd round talent.
He plays best when his back is against the wall and the situation is urgent, but then he completely squanders opportunities to take control of a game or close out a win.I want to smash my computer screen just listening to that video. Heaven help me if it actually happens on draft day.

He is and Howell while great value at the time was drafted much later.Ewers is basically Sam Howell to me
Which is where I think Ewers should go. Howell is not awful and is a guy Id llove to have as a backup. But thats a day 3 worth t meHe is and Howell while great value at the time was drafted much later.
Same guy to me if you can tone down the stupid passes you might get a decent starter in there.Which is where I think Ewers should go. Howell is not awful and is a guy Id llove to have as a backup. But thats a day 3 worth t me
The thing is the Cowboys have holes and don’t seem to be filling them. First 2 rounds you need to find starters and can’t waste the 3rd rounder on a backup.Keep in mind he played half the season recovering from an injury. Better to judge Ewers by the 2023 season.
That being said I still don't take him at 44. He is most definitely worth taking in the 3rd round.
You aren't drafting a back up. You are drafting a potential future starter. The thing is the Cowboys have holes and don’t seem to be filling them. First 2 rounds you need to find starters and can’t waste the 3rd rounder on a backup.
