Quinn gets 58

Yes.

But the type I am referring to is the highly destructive form of the illness.

Mild cases are usually medicated and controllable.

My GF had acute bipolar.

Fits of violence followed by mood swings of deep depression.

It was really hard to watch.

And it gets worst with age I understand.

Not a doctor..just trying to think about what is up with Gregory.

We had another player years back who was bipolar..can' not remember his name.

He also was a DL we tried to help but it washed out, too.

I think it is something like that going on.

Due to cofidentiality requirements..

the team can not come out and say it.

So it only is mentioned as failing another drug test in the media.

Which is what is going on. He is using pot to lessen his bipolar symptoms instead of the meds.

Self treatment.

Part of the issue, which some people aren’t recognizing, is that it’s not as simple as somebody just taking their meds.

When it comes to bipolar disorder. It can take years for a psychiatrist to find the medications and dosages that will work best for each individual. Unfortunately, it involves trial and error. Sometimes people suffering from bipolar cycle through many different types of medications and dosages before finding what works best for them.

Finding the best medications for people has become a little quicker with the use of genetic testing over the past several years. However, it can still be a lengthy process. Then even when the mode effective medications and dosage are discovered, to still requires ongoing treatment with the psych as people’s bodies and tolerance to medication change and it can need tweaking over time.

So Gregory very well may be under the care of a psychiatrist and taking his medications, but still struggling with bipolar symptoms as his doctors try to find out the best course for treating him.

Smoking marijuana doesn’t help when it comes to that btw. And it’s not an excuse, but it’s something to take into consideration.

Unfortunately relapse is very common for people with addiction. It’s even more common for people who are dual diagnosed with addiction and a mental health disorder.

That’s why treatment and recovery are lifelong processes.

Imagine this pass rush with Lawrence, Quinn, and Gregory. Now imagine it with those three guys and if Kerry Hyder turns out to be the guy he was in 2016 with the Lions and either Taco or Dorance Armstrong's light comes on.

Would it be exaggerating to say this could be the best group of DE's in the NFL?

Man im really enjoying watching them build this team.

This defense is starting to look scary. I still think they need a playmaker at S. Lloka and Heath are the same guy. Really like what i see in Isaiah Johnson in the draft at CB. If they could add Thornhill and Johnson, wow.

That's a great reply.

I only speculate about this.

I realize how serious it can be.

And the trial and error thing is a long process.

I take 12 different meds for my conditions and it's a *****.

Everytime something gets tweaked by my doctor..

It takes 2-3 weeks for my metabolism to adjust.

And I am only talking about high BP, glaucoma, diabetes, short term memory loss, and chronic fatigue and neuropathy.

Not bipolar issues.

Bipolar effects everybody around you.

My stuff is localized to me only.

Thank goodness.

Thanx for your reply. Informative.

Anytime Redball.

Give him 94. He deserves more than Gregory never did. Never should Gregory been offered that 94 number.

I couldn't give a flip whether or not Witten get's number 94 or number 49, as long has he helps the offense.

A number is merely a number and doesn't mean a whole lot in terms or what's important in winning games.
