KM strikes me as the great OC but never HC material. Very common

KM is not McVay.

Just like Nathan Hackett, (who the Broncos vastly mistakenly chose over Quinn as HC). .. someone is gonna see Kellen Moore as a young Zac Taylor (Cincy Bengals)
or Packers Matt LaFleur, if not a McVey, Shanahan.- It's purely in the eye of the beholder.

- Kellen is in the Cowboys organization, easily the most popular sports team period, so there is no way he is under the radar.

- Like it or not, despite some flaws, as Cowboys OC, he has this Cowboys offense among or at the top of the league in virtually every offensive team category.
And it's been more than just one lone year at that. So that's gonna weigh heavily in his resume and credentials.

- But when it comes to personal interview, i do wonder if Kellen has that insuring charisma and authority presence that gives teams confidence and
bring it home for him. As soft spoken as he appears to be, he'll have to convince these teams that he is more than an X's and O's type that can convince these teams
that he is a leader of men, game manager, and commands respect from his players, has a brilliant approach and plan for building a team.

- Interviews and impressions are so huge in HC hiring.
Maybe that's the reason why Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy hasn't hit it home as a new HC ?

I know people link DQ to Denver but I just can't see why anyone that wants to resurrect a HC career would even look at that team. QB is a true diva with a contract that will cripple the team for a while. And he is not playing well at all. That job will go to a first time HC, that's my guess anyway.

Agreed, first time head coach or a supposed QB specialist retread with no other options. They have a solid defense so the HC needs to be someone they feel can get the QB back to being at least serviceable.

I guess we won’t need to be concerned with any coaching changes until after the SB victory parade.

Does anyone think Al Harris will get any DC interest after what he has done with improving the secondary over the past 2 seasons. And with all the injuries. Or does he need more time and experience.

Nope!
Next question.

Do you think Rowdy will get an offer to be another teams mascot?
I will pitch in to help with the moving cost. As long as Jerry agrees to not replace him.

Sadly, the Washington mascot job is now filled......but one can only hope!

Yes, I think Moore might be the more likely of the two to coach there. Wilson is a diva. However, physically, his tools fit what I think Moore likes. So, I think Moore would do well to take that job. If it doesn't work, then hey, it was a horrible situation, so chances are he'd get another HC job later.

I don't think either coach entertains offers until our season is concluded. (whenever that is)

dont tell @ESisback dude will have an aneurysm

Why is my reply/reaction an aneurysm, while yours is simply an informed, reasonable acknowledgement? How would you know what my heart rate is? Do you have satellite surveillance? Don’t your spy cams pick up eye rolls and chuckling?

Delusion?

How come we never see Rowdy and Kellen Moore in the same room at the same time?

I agree. I don’t think it’s a great job at this point in time, especially for a defensive coach. The offense is the biggest problem in Denver and Dan Quinn won’t help much there.

i tend to agree that a guy like payton who can get any job he wants wouldn’t consider them but Quinn even if he’s a hot commodity somewhat also probably understands that coaching opportunities come and go and are hard to come by. The broncos are in a tough spot but they have new ownership willing to pay and historically have been a good franchise.

it wouldn’t be my choice and I’m not guaranteeing he goes but I could see him thinking that he can have a dominate defense there and get one of his guys to come run the offense and be able to win a bunch of games. He, like all coaches are very confident in their ability even to points of being irrational.
