No way. In this era of football, the last thing I want is a defensive head coach. Look at the Chargers and Bills, stud QBs with a defensive head coach. Both lost.

You need a high level QB and an offensive head coach. Anything else is just a liability.

Indeed a good idea. McCarthy is just a trainer and a talking head. It is a Kellen and Quinn twin head coaching set up . Quinn showed up and stopped the 49ers and the Buccaneers. Kellen could not figure out how to score beyond 12 points !!!
