I have watched Golston all year and I am skeptical. Maybe he flipped the switch and suddenly learned to play football, but most of the year I have seen him shoved around. Remember, Washington has a pretty bad offensive line. We need the DTs to step up against the better offensive lines in the playoffs.
I think it was obvious they used the Washington game to get a look at all the CBs on the roster. Oddly, that did not include Kelvin Joseph who had 0 defensive snaps. Maybe they already know what Joseph can or cannot do and maybe they felt they needed to see the 2 new guys play. But I would have given Joseph some snaps to see if he learned anything from being benched. One thing Joseph has is speed. Its just brains that he lacks. At this point, the CB2 spot looks like it is still a major problem for Dallas.
But there are two ways to skin this cat. One is to find a CB who can cover somebody. The other is to put pressure on the QB. The Cowboys have done neither lately.
