I agree. I think the job is his if he wants it. And based on the writing on the wall in Dallas, I’m sure that he does.
Well if they don’t plan to bring in a new regime they can’t just hire within either. Joe Whitt will most likely go with him to be the DC. George Edwards would be a huge step down from DQ. He’s from the Zimmer tree as well. And than what do you do with Moore? Keep him again when your highest paid player is going backwards? That side of the ball needs a whole new staff. I’m keeping Philbin and the rest can go.

I'm with everybody else in the thinking that these interviews being allowed during the playoffs should stop. I'm just not a fan of it. Seems like a major distraction for either the coaches, players, or both. I understand teams want to get their new coaching staff in place as soon as possible, but what's a couple of weeks (to give teams the chance to win/lose some playoff games)?

Denver is not the place to go to succeed at being a HC imo, especially not in that division.

Just another reason this is the most laughable league in all of sports. Why in the hell are coaches allowed to interview anything until after the SB. That's great. I can't imagine the locker room speech if the Cowboys win tonight.

MM - "Great win guys, defense you played great. Now, if you have any questions for next weeks game against the 49ers and how they play offense...please get them in by Wednesday! Coach Quinn has to be on a plane Thursday to interview for another job. Thanks guys, Everyone in...Cowboys on 3"

This is always odd to me. Wouldn't upou rather see how he performs in the playoffs? I'm not setting a meeting if I see Tom Brady throw all over your defense.

He's gone...so many job openings and not every team can get Sean Payton. After the Payton dominoes fall, Quinn will be one of the next attractive options for a team, especially Denver looking for a veteran coach.

This means that if the Cowboys win tonight, a part of Dan Quinn's time will be focused on interviewing with the Broncos, on a short week in which Dallas would have to prepare for the 49ers.
Crazy right. How are you going to tell the players to focus on your job when you are in the middle of a Superbowl (hopefully) run and your going on interviews with other teams.

Crap.

That news may impact the defense's focus tonight. Maybe not. Wish he would have waited until the team's run was done but he should look out for his career first.
Exactly my thoughts, I wish the league would prevent interviews until after the season is actually over! Quinn really has no choice, turn them down or ask them to wait they may find some one else. Doesn't seem un reasonable for them to wait on him though, he is kinda busy or least he better be.
