The pass rush from the DE position is absolutely atrocious. Dallas needs to get better talent in those positions. The fearsome foursome of Mincey, Selvie, Spencer, and Edwards is not getting it done. Coples has not done much in New York so I wouldn't expect him to come to Dallas and go on a tear. However the Jets have tried to turn him into a OLBer despite him being built like a traditional 4-3 end so the guy has been set up for failure. The Jets are done and could use extra draft picks. Maybe Jerry can get on the phone lines and bring him to Dallas for a 4th round draft pick. Could be a case of him playing on the wrong system. Nothing higher than a 4th though. This could add a boost along with the return of Lawrence. Most of the teams 4th rounders have turned into crap so maybe they should take a shot. I don't mention any other passrushers because teams do not trade away established passrushers.

The problem is that the Jets GM is probably going to get fired. He needs to win now to try and save his job. Future picks are not going to help him keep the job.
