Man there is alot of that going on Newman isn't 100%. He is fine he just had a bad quarter. The one TD was on Watkins he should have picked up Thrash, but he was not paying attention. Quit making excuses about Newmans health. He played like crap as did the majority of the defense. I agree with everyone saying that we should be playing closer to the receivers instead of 10 yards off. That makes you want to pull your hair out. The other excuse comes from Wade, " Felix does not have any plays designed for him when we are behind". What kind of bull is that?

not an excuse normally the CB lets the WR go and comes down closer when the WR goes in motion and he gets picked up by some one else on defense.

You could say that about the entire defense. They were beat often and the Commander D probably said, "good job getting beaten up today". In fact, both front lines lost the battles all day long.

They got beat as a team, repeatedly. Newman had a bad first half, it happens to the best of them, but the whole defense should be ticked off with how poorly they played yesterday.

Newman had a bad game and the run defense had a bad game.

Those are 2 things this defense can usually hang its hat on. In the long run those 2 things will be the least of our worries.

Good post, we were beaten soundly, stop making excuses, fix the problems and once and for all get the most out of this tremendously talented team you were given Wade and RED.

How could we not be prepared they used pretty much the same attack as last year. Run the ball, dink and dunk us then hit our corners with double moves for big plays. Its really not that hard to understand what the skins are going to do.
