People keep saying its time to fire Zimmer, you guys do realize his contract ended when our season ended right? He is currently not contracted to Dallas therefore there will be no "firing"

The only valley ranch I want Zimmer near is the salad dressing sitting next to his salad....the hidden valley ranch dressing....

I agree if there is to be a new DC it will come from within.

However IMO it will be Paul Pasqualoni.

if we wanted him back wouldn't he have already been resigned?
isn't that par for the course in the NFL.
Zimmer shoulda taken that head coaching job he was offered a couple years ago.

This reminds me of that scene in Office Space.

The reasoning per Jerry was because of the uncertainty surrounding Parcells return. Wanted to give a new coach, if necessary, the opportunity to bring in their own coach.

So while technically Zim is a FA, and I believe he's not coming back, there's no reason why couldn't re-sign him if they so chose.

Please don't hire from within.. I don't want anyone with the "read and react" mentaility coaching this defense. There's too much talent to not be able to effectivley attack.
