I'm watching the NFLN "NFL Films" narration of the Giants Cowboys game from last week and was struck by that comment. Its so so very true. This was said just after Marion Barber scored to put us up 20-13 with 3:38 to go in the game.

They pointed out how Witten beat Pierce by half a step earlier in the game on a skinny post but the pass was a bit overthrown by Romo. The coaching staff kept that in the back of their heads and went back to it when the game was on the line. BINGO!

The "NFL Films" comment when something like "Even when a team goes nowhere they learn a lot". Pretty good stuff.
