Am I the only one who is not impressed with Aaron Glenn or Keyshawn Johnson? I believe Keyshawn has more drops than catches this preseason, and Glenn looks like a little rookie out there getting consistently burned.

But man, O man, the new guys are exciting! JJones, Crayton, Spears, Ware - four names that are going to make being a Cowboys fan a very satisfying lifestyle for the next few years.

Never been a big fan of KJ's, but the toughness he showed last year impressed me. He will be fine for another season or 2. I'll have to watch the replay on the NFL network to see how Glenn played, but before this game I thought he had done OK.

I wouldnt worry(yet). You see a lot of vets who dog-it during preseason games and know when to turn it on for the real deal. I'm not worried about Glenn at all, had a nice kick return last week if I remember correctly.
Keyshawn is lucky at this stage in his career that his main asset was never speed, his can still use his size and good hands to get the job done. I do hope however that Parcells faces up to the fact that Keyshawn should not be our deep threat guy, Keyshawn is at his best showing his guts by going over the middle and making the catch, usually short and medium routes. Too many times last year it was Keyshawn running those deep routes to strecth the D, most all of them failed badly. Granted Terry Glenn was gone but we could have used any of the young guys to run the deep routes and left Keyshawn to run underneath. Someone would have had to run with the deep guy and Keyshawn was wasted at that roll as his speed scares nobody.

I agree with Keyshaun but not so much with Glenn.

I do think Keyshawn has good hands and is a tough, team player. But he is just solid these days at best. Nothing spectacular. But as a possesion receiver, he is one of the best. He'll never go house with it. But you can run slants and short little out patterns with him all day to move the ball.

Glenn however I think needs a little time to win you over. He is technically sound and I think by midseason you will thank the football Gods for having him here when he is needed most.

Yeah I'm a big Glenn fan..he is more technically sound than any of our other corners. And I've watched all the preseason games ad nauseum, not only will he help our team, but he will be invaluable to our other corners, as far as teaching them...

Good analysis, Key brings some toughness to our crew and I think when it is showtime, he will be a factor...

I am going to say that Key's diminished speed and well coordination are finally going to start affecting him on the field this year...he will still play and contribute, but this is the last year he starts 16 games.
