Seriously? I think it's juvenile, disrespectful, and almost intolerably annoying. 'Jerrah' is a close second.

Anybody who wanted to give me a derrogatory or diminutive nickname in the press would be wondering why I never gave them the time of day after a game, too. It's one thing for a blogger to try to be controversial, but a paid journalist--even in an opinion column--should be above it.

I'm not ragging on you for thinking it sounds funny. It just really turns me off to see it in print in one of her columns. It's better than that guy on this board who keeps saying Bill Poorsmells. That one drives me nuts and I'm not even sure why.
