So which team earns the right to get slaughtered by New England?

I would like Favre to win by upset over Pats.

I say New England is the sacrificial lamb to the Packers. If the continue to play the way they are on both sides of the ball (and they have loads of confidence) I think the Patriots* go down in Arizona.

I would prefer to see the Giants beat the Packers and then lose to the Patriots in the SB.

Screw that, the only team I would take the Pats* over is the Commanders. No way in hell I want Brandon Jacobs to step foot on a field that has the Superbowl logo on it. I take the Packers to wipe the floor with the Giants and to take down the Patriots* by 10-17 points.

Me too. However, if it would ensure that old fart would retire, I might take the pill popping redneck.

No kidding. WFAN should be painful to listen to this week. I think I will skip it until the Packers knock off the Giants next weekend.

No way, I hope GB destroys the Giants and all of their trash talk, and they could give NE a tough game in the super bowl.
Now that we are done, I am a Favre fan, go Pack.

Funny, people jumped all over the writer of the article who suggested that the Cowboys would make the Super Bowl, but get slaughtered by the New England Patriots.

Now, some of us are resorting to the same tactics.

New England can be beaten and by no means are they assured of winning the Super Bowl.

I just flipped through the channels and caught a tail end of a clip where they were ripping Coughlin.

They dont believe in the Giants.

You could say that the Packers are the 1999 Rams. They came out of nowhere. And they are rolling with confidence.

I sure hope next season, the Cowboys play with the same flare and mental toughness that the young and definitely overachieving Packers are playing with.

Yes, I did say overachieving. The Packers were not even suppose to be where they are now. And look at em playing out of their minds.

Well, I don't live in NY so I don't care. :D

I just don't want Favre to get anywhere near a SB. The mediots would never recover from all the contortions they would put themselves through trying to plant their lips on his keaster for the next year. Health care costs would skyrocket!

Part of me would like to see Favre go to the Super Bowl and throw six picks and get hammered. The other part of me wants to see him get humiliated at home by the ******** brother of Peyton. Either way, I want him sent to his rocking chair, permanently.

Not really-the Packers are WAY overrated.

1. They can't get pressure on the QB

2. They're vulnerable against the run

3. Al Harris and Charles Woodson, IF you can beat their press coverage, they're burnt toast

4. I'm not THAT sold on Ryan Grant-so what if he had a few decent games against some ****** run D's?

Can they score points against the Pats? Yes-but how is their D going to stop them?

Honestly-I CAN see the Giants beating the Pack next week, especially if they can get Jacobs/Bradshaw to control the clock.

The Packers had a defense and everyone expected it to be good this year. WHat they didn't expect is to have their younger WRs step up and their offensive line come together the way it did and pave the way for Ryan Grant to have such a great year. Their offensive line I think deserves the most credit for what they've done. They have been tremendous! They only gave up 19 sacks and went from no rushing game to producing 118.6 yards a game for the last 10 games of the season. Then dropped 235 yards rushing on Seattle. Green Bay's offensive line shut down Seattles big pass rush by holding them to only 1 sack. To make matters worse, Mark Tauscher (Green Bay's right tackle) didn't only goose egg Patrick Kerney (#2 with 14.5 sacks) he goose egged him completely. Kerney was held statless against the Packers! How is that for humiliation!

I won't be rooting for ANYONE simply because they're not the COWBOYS! That being said, I hope the Pack wins it all.

Packers beat the Giants.

NE beats SD (easily).

NE beats the Packers.

The media, nevertheless, has a love fest with Favre. They also have a lovefest with Brady and Billicheat.

A month or two later, Favre retires.

The end.
