OK-let's not count our chickens before our eggs are hatched-there's a LONG way to go this season before anything happens-and unless we can get past the Eagles, we don't even deserve this div.

Nonetheless-it's been YEARS since we've had a smile on our faces in the 1st qtr of the season. Since '00(the start of the Campo years), there was always something of glaring concern that all but convinced us it would be a long season-whether we made a bad personnel move that bit us in the tail, or how we got our butt kicked, etc, etc.

It just feels SATISFYING(not overly-happy or comfortable, that is) that things are going our way early in the season-finally the coaches and FO are making all the right moves. Honestly-if Parcells(or Campo) were still roaming the sidelines, we would be 0-3.

Wade has the attitude of letting the players play. And Jason plays to their strengths. Bill wouldn't risk that. He was more a "with me or agin me" coach who liked to say "This is the system. You are in it. Sucks to be you."

Neither Chan Gailey or Dave Campo ever sold anyone on what they were doing. Sucks to be them.

Seriously? You think that Wade Phillips makes so much of a difference that we would lose every game so far with Parcells. I wouldn't even go that far with Campo. Explain how Phillips makes that much of a difference. I understand that his style of coaching may work better for this team, but to say that another coach would cost us all three games is going too far.

If Parcells was here, then Jason Garrett wouldn't be our OC. Since most of the players we have on the team would still probably be on the team now (including CB Aaron Glenn), hard to believe we put up 45 points against the Giants. So at best we go into Chicago 1-1 but it wouldn't be seen as a battle for NFC supremacy. So who knows what might have happened.
