I hope you aren't referring to that sideline play......if so, you don't know what "aligator arms" is.

Guess you haven't heard about the ligament damage in his fingers yet. He needs surgery to fix it in the off season.

I don't really consider this much of an excuse. Ligament damage or not, hes dropped too many. And if it really was that big of a problem, he would have opted for surgery.

They sure made it sound like it was a big deal. Basically the doctors told TO either

a. he has surgery and misses the rest of the season.

or

b. he continues to play with the "torn tendon" and risk never being able to bend that finger again.

Owens also insists that a doctor recently told him that a dislocated tendon in his left ring finger needs surgery.

"I knew if I had surgery, it would end my season," Owens said. "I've worked through injuries in my career before."

This same media machine has an even larger dislike for the Boys +TO. I don't ride any story. I prefer to keep things centered. My posting history proves that.

No one and I mean NO ONE is going to sign a wide receiver with only 9 fingers so why in the world would he take that risk? If the tendon broke, he would have surgery the same day to get it repaired. Yes its a long recovery, I have actually had it done, 3 - 6 weeks before you can start rehab, and 6 months before its fully healed. Never being able to use the finger again is a bit absurd, the only way that would be possible is if he waited six months after it broke and tendon lost its flexibility and they couldn't reattach it.

Internet balls are always bigger, I'd be surprised if you could even find 'em in real life...
