...anyone remember that quote from Parcells last year? As I recall he said it to Chris Palmer in the first quarter of the Giants game at the Meadowlands.

Say what you want about Parcells, but he knows Romo and he recognizes his weaknesses. Well, last night Romo was again "off the reservation" and did EVERYTHING Parcells warned him not to do.

Interestingly, Romo actually admitted Buffalo's defense confused him as he said that he was tentative and not making confident throws because he didn't recognize what Buffalo was doing. Give Jauron and Buffalo credit. Their defensive staff outcoached our offensive staff and Romo last night. Hopefully Romo learns from it because he is sure to see the same thing and more this week against the Pats and also when he goes up against Washington's defense.

I thought Palmer said it to Parcells, but anyway, Romo came through at the end of that Giants game just as he did last night. Look at last years Pro Bowl, Romo bounced back from interceptions to lead two late scoring drives then too. It is his knack to come back.

We were overly confident thinking we could dictate and take what we wanted.

We threw right into the strength of the Bills' D.

They practically gave us the underneath and intermediate routes.

I am interested in seeing what Belichick cooks up for this game.

I agree that the Buffalo coaches did a great job but in large part I think Buffalo changed up their defense from what they had been doing and what our staff saw on film. You could tell when Buffalo ran the fake punt at the start of the game that the Bills were going to take risk and chances in this game and evidently they put together some coverage’s that we had not seen out of them. Add to that Romo was off the mark and was not able to get into a rhythm for most of the evening

I think Hoodie was going to do what Bills did. Load run and then drop 7-8 into coverage and not let Romo get comfortable. Confuse him with 2 down lineman and move front 7 all around. Romo was never comfortable last night.

We can't run the ball hurts him as well.

If we could actually run the ball (A) We would have scored in the first quarter long ago and (B) Romo wouldn't have to throw the ball to get anything going.

Until we get our running game fixed, any team can be competitive as long as they play disciplined football.

I've been saying all season that our running game wasn't as great as people want to think it is. Our rushing yards have come with big leads, with teams playing for pressure and interceptions.

Romo not recognising the Bills D rests on Garrett. Its his job to make sure Romo is prepared, and has seen all of those plays

Exactly. Romo must learn to play within himself and stop forcing the ball. We should have been able to pick them apart with the underneath stuff.

I think to some extent our offensive team and staff bought into this hype about keeping up with the Pats and setting the scoring record and we are going out trying to blow teams out instead of being patient and taking what's there and letting the game unfold. Everyone needs to take a step back and realize this isn't College Football where we have to impress the pollsters. I for one am sick of the talk about trying to set records. Let's just play the games and if we win 17-7 that' fine with me. I don't care how impressed the folks like Peter King and others are about the way we played.
