A story in Monday's Atlanta Journal Constitution with the headline: "Falcons No Huddle Attack Unstoppable" is taped on walls outside the locker room at Valley Ranch. There are even some signs near the shower area.
The Falcons used the no huddle to complete two scoring drives in their Monday night victory over the Bears.
Coach Wade Phillips was asked about the signs and didn't offer any insight.
Here's the Q & A:
Reporter: Why did you, or I don't know if it was you; Why are there signs up in the locker room about the Falcons hurry up offense?
Phillips: "Um, well, I don't know if it was me or not."
Long pause
Phillips: "You mean, about being unstoppable?"
Reporter: Yeah.
Phillips: "I dont know why. I don't know who put that up there. I kinda know the reason."
Reporter: "And that is?"
Phillips: "I know the reason, you can figure it out, I think. I think."
