I had to go to the sports bar to watch this one today, since the Skins played at the same time. The main part of the bar was about 3/4 Cowboys fans, and the rest Iggles fans. A guy came in wearing a foam Eagle on his head. He took it off at one point, then later put it back on. I pointed out to the guy next to me that the hat was back on. He said, "GOOD! I WANT TO SEE THE EAGLE CRY!"

I had to hand it to this one Eagles fan. He plopped himself down in the middle of a bunch of us Cowboys fans, expecting to rub a win in our faces. From the start, he took more abuse than any fan deserves, for about 55 minutes (he left before the game was over .. can't blame him). He fought back for a while and then just took it. I shook his hand when he left. Some other guys would have slinked off to a quiet corner of the bar to avoid the heat.

Which bar were you at? I was at Mulligan's, there were initially about 9 or 10 Eagle fans there, by the start of the fourth quarter, there was only one left. Next weekend should be interesting if we watch it there again, a Giants fan club usually shows up to watch the games.

There's an Eagles fan at work, Shane, that I can't wait to see tomorrow. I'm not going to rub it in at all. Not going to say anything unless he does. Good guy, but he was talking it up this week. Gonna act like nothing ever happened and see how he responds.

No way. That's where I was! Which Mulligans were you at? I was in Mechanicsville.

How crazy would it be if you were sitting right next to me?

Ah, I was at the one on Hull Street with some friends. Small world nonetheless.

I only go to two or three games at Mulligans per season, particularly since I have Sirius and can listen at home if it's not on TV. But, every time I go there I see the same guys, and they remember me and treat me like family. It's pretty damned cool, I tell ya.

Considering the history (especially with Irvin) I would debate that.

Ah .. I'm not going to pin that on this guy. He was a kid - said he's 23.

We generally watch the games there or at Glory Days, sometimes Hooters but their television setup sucks. Mulligan's and Glory Days both have pretty cool fans in general and decent service if it's not mega-jampacked.

Mulligan's waitresses wear even skimpier outfits than Hooter's waitresses. I've seen more cotton in the top of an aspirin bottle. ;)

Not that I'm complaining....

Sadly, the ones in Mech'ville are usually in t-shirts and jeans. Ours had the exact shape and look that I go for though. I had to keep twisting my wedding ring and reminding myself of the two kids at home :)

Nah, its better if you let them sit and stew, cause they'll be waiting for it all day, just prolongs the torture. He'll finally come up to Hos and say something cause the silence will be killin him. Ive got about 10 good friends who are eagles fans waiting for me to call, they prolly just wish i would and get it over with, but tehy know they're gonna see me some time this week, so i'll just wait it out.

Hos, you know you wont be able to look him in the eye without cracking up.

I almost forgot, there was a Dallas fan at the bar that kept shouting "I love me some me!" making fun of Me Oh. The look on all the Eagle fans faces was priceless.
