Reminder: not one guy on a paid contract is playing games. In the words of A-Rod: R-E-L-A-X.

We won’t know what this team is until the bye week. Current judgments of the FO re depth is fair, or of the individual players themselves playing (somewhat — as we have to consider who they’re playing with & against), forming a conclusion of the coaching staff & 2025 Cowboys as a whole is entirely premature. We have over $100 million on the sideline & some of the best weapons in the entire NFL on both ends of the ball that’ll open up things for the guys who are currently playing pre season.

Hope for health — that’s most important at this stage. God bless!

((Yawn )) this same logic has been spit out for TWO (2) decades. Until, say this AGAIN, UNTIL this franchise can P-R-O-V-E, on the field, they can even get to a damn NFC Conference game, telling drought stricken Cowboys fans of 40-50 years, to "r-e-l-a-x" has been put in the rear view mirror long ago. This franchise is a circus, or as Jerry refers to his "toy" ....... A Soap Opera that he strikes up anytime when he needs publicity to reach his real goal........FORBES Superbowl, which he has won 6 straight years.

I agree, it’s just pre season but as coog alluded to, there WILL be injuries and so far the back ups/depth looks piss poor. Add in the fact that we already have multiple injury concerns, including our QB coming back to play his first game in ~9 months, an unproven HC, a disgruntled All Pro DE and a run defense that is highly questionable with or without starters, then there is a legitimate reason for concern.

On paper, personnel and coaching wise, we looked much better last year and still had a pretty bad record. Sure, our QB went down but I’m doubtful Dak would have made enough of a difference to significantly improve that record.

Gotcha but if one of those guys that START and goes down, there needs to be someone on this depth chart that can play as a fully functioning nfl player, and we haven't seen that in the last few weeks
You haven’t because you’re not looking at anything but the score. But the coaches have seen some players more than capable.

That’s insulting to almost every fan out there. So ~95% of the posters on this site have been right about the players and record year after year, whereas you have been wrong year after year, and yet you’re claiming they don’t watch the players :lmao:

And how do you know the coaches have seen some players more than capable? If they have they are certainly few and far between because we’ve all seen what’s been on the field the past 2 weeks.

Yeah, it's only been thirty years and people like this make this same post every year as nothing changes except for the length of time since the last time this team mattered, but just relax as you watch the same thing happen again this year.

My only concern with Dallas is the playoffs

Fully healthy this team goes 11-6 but then all the starters look just like the backups in yesterdays preseason in the playoffs

Never fails…..it’s almost like Jerry is saying “alright boys…go out there and embarrass yourselves it’ll get media clicks and headlines”

Umm, a lot of those guys in both games are playing games.

11-6? Are you serious? What have you seen exactly over the past year and a half that supports that? Are you just assuming this team is as good as they were in 2023 and haven’t shown it or something? Genuinely curious…
