Until, say this AGAIN, UNTIL this franchise can P-R-O-V-E, on the field, they can even get to a damn NFC Conference game, telling drought stricken Cowboys fans of 40-50 years, to "r-e-l-a-x" has been put in the rear view mirror long ago. I agree, it’s just pre season but as coog alluded to, there WILL be injuries and so far the back ups/depth looks piss poor. Add in the fact that we already have multiple injury concerns, including our QB coming back to play his first game in ~9 months, an unproven HC, a disgruntled All Pro DE and a run defense that is highly questionable with or without starters, then there is a legitimate reason for concern.

On paper, personnel and coaching wise, we looked much better last year and still had a pretty bad record. Sure, our QB went down but I’m doubtful Dak would have made enough of a difference to significantly improve that record.

Yeah, it's only been thirty years and people like this make this same post every year as nothing changes except for the length of time since the last time this team mattered, but just relax as you watch the same thing happen again this year.

Fully healthy this team goes 11-6 but then all the starters look just like the backups in yesterdays preseason in the playoffs
