THE MOST INDEPTH MOCK I've made.
Please read and comment.

Damn, I just wrote this ALL OUT. The Entire draft all fancy and such and then I closed the page by accident.
____________________________________________________________

Well here goes nothing: I have to retype all this, fantastic!
What I will be doing differently: I wont be looking back at my other mocks, at all. I will be using a worse case scenario for the Cowboys(and a very likely one). In it Clausen falls to us, Taylor Mays and Charles Brown are the only other players that would make remote sense for us still available. (Price, Allen etc; are still on the board but wont be the pick here)

1st Round:
#27 overall (will only be listing this for first 3 rounds)
... With the 27th selection in the 2010 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys have opted to trade the selection to the Cleveland Browns and with the 27th selection in the 2010 NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns select QB Jimmy Clausen...
(Compensation: #38 Overall, #71 Overall)

(TIME INBETWEEN Round 1 and Round 2, The Cowboys trade RB Marion Barber and #38 overall to the KC Chiefs #36 overall and #68 overall)

2nd Round:

#36 Overall:
Selection: Nate Allen FS
Reasoning: With the selection of Nate Allen we patch our hole at the FS position, he is the ball-hawking free safety we have been dieing for since Woodson.

#59 Overall:
Selection: Vladimir Ducasse OT
Reasoning: I know I know you all keep on saying that Free will be our LT, maybe so but it would be idiotic not to take someone to back compete for the position(and I have us taking two tackles in this draft.) The LT position in the 2nd most important position in the game, your QB's health is directly effected by it. Ducasse, Free and our third 3rd round selection will compete for the starting LT position with the others backing up the Tackle Positions and moving Brewster back inside to Guard.

3rd Round:
#68 Overall: Javier Arenas CB PR/KR
Reasoning: We need our PR/KR you all say, well he is more than likely the best at that in this draft, he is truly an artist Punt Returning. Plus he can play CB which we desperately need a 4th CB.

#71 Overall: Toby Gerhart HB
Reasoning: Here is our replacement for the Barbarian, the powerback we will need is Gerhart.

#90 Overall: Donald Butler ILB
Reasoning: My Pet-Cat, one of the best coverage ILBs in the draft. Can groom him to take Bradies spot while grooming J.Williams to take Brookings.

4th Round:
Selection: Jason Fox OT
Reasoning: A former 1st round prospect who has fallen because of his heart concerns and injuring his leg while running the 40, a potential steal or bust here but the risk is worth it in the late 4th round.

5th Round:
Selection: Linval Joseph DT
Reasoning: The backup DT we need, a bigger guy to help clog up the Run when needed.A

6th Round:
Selection: John Connor FB
Reasoning: Deon has done us good, but his issues make us select Connor here.

7th Round:
Selection: Kelton Tindal WR
Reasoning: The speedy guy (4.32 40) you guys have wanted a potential bust hence why he is so late in the draft, but worth the risk with a late 7th round selection.

UDFAS we bring in: Matthew Harris (FS), Matt Nichols (QB), Brandon Brinkley (CB).

More than likely to be gotten in the UDFA if we desired, I still think Butler will be a player, in just a comparison with Lee and McClain he had more bench reps and a faster 40 time Butler is a player plus he backs it up on the field.

Maybe so, but he isn't the best coverage ILB.

ok ok Ill change it to "One of the best". Either way what do you think about the mock as a whole? I wasnt in love with it while doing it but while reviewing it I hope it happens similar to this, it addresses every need we have and then some.

It's very well done man. It fills EVERY need, and theres some quality players there too. Although I don't think Clausen falls there, and if Mays is on the board Jerry will strongly consider it, but as far as the picks go, perfect. Nate Allen's my favorite player in the draft so, it works for me :).

Thank you, I think it is likely Clausen falls to Arizona, if they truly believe in Leinart he will fall to us. It all depends on 49ers belief in Smith, the Cards belief in Leinart.

Yeah but in order of all that to happen, Buffalo has to pass on him, which I think they will not.

I dont think he will be a Bill, they require strong armed QBs they took Brian Brohm in the 2nd round a few years ago, he is a weaker armed QB like Clausen and look how he has faired in Buffalo, Buffalo requires a QB like Ryan Mallett who is coming out next year more than likely.

Maybe, Buddy Nix has something up his sleave though. And one more thing I forgot to mention. I think we can get more from Cleveland then what we got. Because I think there going to be desperate to get him before Minestoa selects.

We could more than likely get junk picks like a 2011 6th/7th aswell.

dont love any of the third rounders. i see arenas as a 4th he is only 5'8"ish and i thought toby put himself in the 2nd with his workout but not unreasonible here but i would rather wait till the 5th and get blount i think they have the same boom/bust potential but at a cheaper price. also i would rather have spikes but you prolly used draft countdown rankings so i can see the pick.

outside of that round i like it good effort looks like you put bias asside and looked at it objectively, you should do that more often you wouldnt get ragged on as much.

good job

I don't think Ducasse makes it to 59 (nor Allen), but we can possibly get Morgan Burnett there or Akwasi Owusu-Ansah to fill the safety need.

I think the best offensive lineman we'll have a chance at with the 59th pick might be Jared Veldheer.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Marion Barber and a 2nd in order to move up two spots in the 2nd round?

Talk about robbery, especially since the Chiefs will probably get Berry or Thomas in round 1...we wouldn't have to trade with them for danger of them drafting a second safety.

I do not think Linval Joseph will make it to the 5th round.

We also get a 3rd

The Bills did not draft Brohm, the Packers did. They traded for him. I'm not sure exactly what Chan Gailey's system is going to be, but I think they take Clausen and build around him. Drafting a QB buys you a couple years as a head coach, and Clausen is the most polished QB in the draft. There's still a lot of places he could go before falling to our pick.
