Round 1:
OG Mike Iupati 6'6 330 LBS
Mike Iupati will become a Dallas Cowboy. If not, Earl Thomas will fall here whom I will take aswell. If Iupati makes it past the Steelers @ 18, he will be here for us to pick.
previous pick: Mike Iupati
Round 2:
FS Morgan Burnett GT 6'2 209 LBS
I have come to accept that Nate Allen will be gone at this point in the draft, sad but true. The next best FS on the board is Morgan Burnett, so we take him. He does have the potential to take over the reigns of FS this year, or in 2011.
previous pick: Nate Allen
Round 3:
OT Jason Fox 6'7 314 LBS
Projected as a 1st round pick, fell to become projected as a very early 2nd round pick and then his heart issue set him free falling til around here. For a former 1st round prospect who can play, this is a FANTASTIC pick, can be groomed to take the LT position while Free gets groomed to play RT or vice versa, with Iupati already drafted this has our O-Line set starting in 2011 as Fox/Iupati/Gurode/Davis/Free or reverse Free and Fox.
previous pick: Jason Fox
Round 4:
ILB Donald Butler Washington 6'1 245LBS
Highly regarded as the 4th best ILB in the 2010 Draft, with sideline to sideline speed 462 40 which is faster than McClain, and no he doesn't lack strength like you would suspect, he had 35 bench reps at 225 pounds. 11 more than everyones pet-cat in McClain. A steal at this point in the draft
Previous Pick: Trindon Holliday
6th round:
DT Travis Ivey Maryland 6'4 341LBS
Purpose is to backup Jay Ratliff, why you all would like him? He is a big fat guy that will clog up the line. He is a poormans Terrance Cody, considering TC will be a 2nd round pick and Ivey will be a 6th-7th. I'll take Ivey.
Previous Pick: Jay Ross
7th round:
CB Chris Hawkins LSU 6'0 187LBS
Why I like Chris: He has speed, 4.43 40-. Thats a great bargain this late in the draft, combined with the fact that we need someone to be the 4th CB after Newman,Jenkins and Scandrick Hawkins can compete with Brinkley out of the UDFA for the 4th spot.
Since Brandon Brinkley will go undrafted I can only hope we give him an invite to camp, he very well may be the UDFA the Cowboys hit on this year.
Previous Pick: Brandon Brinkley or Hunter Lawrence.
