Falcons defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman may be in line for league discipline after being charged with three misdemeanors in a domestic violence case this March.

D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that the charges stemmed from an incident with the mother of his child in March. Details of what happened are scarce, but the DeKalb County court system shows that Hageman faces charges of battery family violence, cruelty to children in the third degree and interference with a call for emergency help.

so what about this, another player was put on commissioner exempt list, and facing charges, why not throw book at him like goodell and friel has with zeke?

When the player is in the legal system, they let that play out first. If it's a bad enough offense, the player goes on the exempt list which is basically being suspended. The book will likely be thrown at him after his court case is finished.

If they are going to do something with him, at least they have a better case seeing as though there have actually been charges filed. Kind of seems like a good baseline for starting to think about discipline to me.

Goodell gets to say "we screwed up with Zeke but we got this guy"
after ruling comes to drop suspension.
