Rafer Johnson has died

Rafer Johnson, Olympic Decathlete Gold Medalist in the 1960 Games of Rome has passed. Johnson, also the winner of the Silver in the 1956 Decathlon in Melbourne Australia and the Decathlon Gold in the 1955 Pan Am games in Mexico City, hailed from Hillsboro Texas. He attended UCLA where he was a three sport Athlete and actually played for Legendary Coach John Wooden. Was also drafted by the Rams in 1959.
