There's a reason why they have gone 7 connsecutive seasons with 10+ losses..

they can stilll say that they have more playoff wins than Dallas this century though. (my cousin reminds me of this often) hehe

It also looks like he's committing to youth. I wish we could get Higgins but I guess they're looking to make Higgins their #2

This isn't a huge surprise. Walker was absolutely nothing there last year and it had more to do with the fact that the dude is made of glass than it does how bad the Raiders are.

The guy is as injury prone as they come at the WR position and that's why he shouldn't be looked at for anything more than Vet. minimum by any team.

That means Johnnie Lee Higgins is the man there...odds of getting Higgins are slim to none now :-(

I really liked Johnnie Lee, and apparently so did Garrett. He was really high on he and Eddie Royal.

Thats exaclty the type of WR this team needs, someone with some wiggle to compliment our long striders.

I was a fan of Eddie Royal. I was pleased to see him doing great during his rookie season.

Even before the Vegas incident Walker was on thin ice. They recently cut ties with Ronald Curry too.

In the presser Cable spoke highly of J. Higgins and C. Schilens. Also Z Miller has emerged as a pretty good NFL TE. The team at skill position is young.

For all the bad FA moves the Raiders have still maintained to have decent drafts of late. M Bush looks like a potential steal and K Morrison is one of the better young LB's in the NFL. In the end I think that the final judgment will come on the success of the Russell draft.

I know that people around the organization were sold on Macklin, because Al is big on speed guys. I'm not so sure that Crabtree is a burner.
