Raiders/Rams thread

Rams 40 of 43 plays with single setback, 1 TE, and 3 WRs. Most of those under center. We run that like never.
That's because Garrett loves the mismatches that two TE's bring to the offense. He likes those mismatches so much he often plays three of them at the same time. He one that has any playmaking ability, of course, is inactive. It's hard to understand without a Princeton education!

That pass was brutal by Carr. He threw it to no one in particular in floater form.

Raiders could really use Khalil Mack right about now. That pass rush is abysmal.

Listen to Witten pushing being aggressive. I guess he got his fill of JG's dink and dunk nonsense.

"McVay is as bright a coach as there is out there not named Belichick." -- Jason Witten

Dear Mr. Witten:

Inquiring minds want to know -- where would your friend Jason Garrett rank behind those two?

My main point is that the defense really doesn't know if the Rams are running or passing. They play action pass or run out of that same formation under center. Everyone in the stadium knows we're running with 2 TEs. Then passing from shotgun with the occasional crap draw play.

Not only that the problem is exasperated when we come with 2 -3 TE formations which allows the defense to put 8 in the box.

Yep, the Rams were in 3 wide 43 of 45 plays at one point. They don't let you load up against Gurley.

I'm being sarcastic, Garrett and company have not clue. They think they are being sneaky with those 2 TE's.

Well Witten clarified a lot, Mcvay simplified the game for Goff. Goff apparently doesn’t have to scan the whole field. If Goff was in this offense, he would be called dumb.
