Raiders show interest in Mike Jenkins

The Oakland Raiders have expressed interest in Cowboys free agent cornerback Mike Jenkins, according to a source.

Jenkins, who just turned 28 years old on Friday, added some value to his resume last season when he started working some at inside cornerback in the absence of injured slot cornerback Orlando Scandrick

Jenkins wasn’t always happy with his situation but contributed in his spot duty. Jenkins has said he wants the opportunity to start again in the NFL and would like to sign a multi-year contract.

For good reason. TNew was solid in Cincinnati last year...started 15 games and wasn't burned nearly as much as 2011. If we had CB trouble, I would be perfectly fine bringing him back a year or so.

True, but I'm not sure the two were on good terms with each other. I remember TNew instigating a fight with Jenkins (or was it Sensy?) on the field during a divisional game once. Embarrassing.


If I remember correctly, Collinsworth was giggling happily to himself while that was happening. Still angry about that.

Yea that was Sensy but even then I never got they had a problem with each other. Just frustrated with each other on that day.
