He’s worth this for sure, but it’s hard to predict the future and shut yourself out of the draft for 2 years, especially when someone like the bears will be picking high again. I can’t really see the reasoning for this to the bears.

Becuase he is one of a kind premium Edge Rusher that can play as a DE or an OLB, as for where the Bears are picking they could eassily become a top 16 team, and giving up 2 top 16 picks; is easily worth Mack 24/7 365.

Call me crazy...But I actually think this is gonna work out for the Raiders in the long run. People laughed @ us when we traded Herschel Walker...and that turned out ok.

Raiders save a ton of money...and they stock up on...what will be high draft picks. Chicago is a 500 team @ best.

Plus...this allows them to move Bruce Irvin to OLB...when he is more effective rushing the QB. Pair him up w/ Arden Key...and I think they will be ok on the edge. Not great...but passable.

I remember when a contingent of mouth breathers on this site were willing to sell their souls to get Gruden here as a head coach. I said it then and I'll say it now: Gruden's weakness is that he has no idea how to build a roster. He took over Tampa Bay and won with Dungy's roster. When he actually had to build his own, it was the death of his coaching career. He has absolutely no idea how to do it. He's off to the same start in Oakland. So glad we never had interest in that over the top freaking fraud.
